And lol - I have an 8 year old, know how sticky-tape doesn't come up too well...

debby - lol - thank goodness you have moved on to better things, eh?

julie - I just worry that I did see the clip but still didn't get it!

the palms - it is his vacuum - mine, which worked wonderfully well, was vandalised by the child with his permission (he just didn't realise that is what he was doing) so V does not dare to say ANYTHING! Also, he likes my hair and a comment like that (especially at the wrong time) may well cause him to lose his long-haired girl!

Trace - just because the Broncos has the foresight to chose one of the NSW youngsters to import means nothing except they were smart! Poor old Mal. He did look like he was staring into the lights on a freight train last night.jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17322709527738134797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37871177.post-64845996037818234622008-05-22T10:46:00.000+10:002008-05-22T10:46:00.000+10:00Oh dear and then the Blues won! Go the Blues! (And...Oh dear and then the Blues won! Go the Blues! (And anyway, how come you have a player who names a NSW club as his starting club?)... I don't actually care that much about football, but NSW winning over QLD means more to me than wishing that part of your week wasn't sucky. (Will it help if I tell you hubby doesn't rate Meninga as a coach? - probably not...!!) I'll just have to send 'get better vacuum cleaner' vibes, because I do understand how scream-worthy that would be. (Some months ago mine had a bit of a turn (probably from disuse)... but thankfully Mr Fixit fixed it. With visitors coming tomorrow, if my vacuum played up today you'd probably hear the screams from your place.Traceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05906909599853950560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37871177.post-82651941106124066732008-05-22T03:41:00.000+10:002008-05-22T03:41:00.000+10:00Our vacuum had the same sucky issue. So, his vacuum is now sitting in the closet by its lonesome and my shiny, new, can suck until it is dead has cleaned the whole house. So, if you need a rec, let me know.... hopefully your sucky vacuum will eventually suck!Life. So sure, everyone feels a bit out of stride in some way at some point, but some rarely do and some mostly do.

But I'm still not convinced I didn't miss some talk and film strip in the library. ;)Julie Pipperthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03169574697104642479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37871177.post-80518439966649775382008-05-21T20:03:00.000+10:002008-05-21T20:03:00.000+10:00I remember once, when my ex was in graduate school...I remember once, when my ex was in graduate school, and I was working two jobs, raising two kids, and feeling like I wasn't doing well at either. and we were barely grinding along financially, and Mr. Education was looking down on anyone who didn't have his vast knowledge, was telling me repeatedly that one day it would be worth it, and I'm looking him and thinking 'Yeah, but will YOU be?'...one day my vacuum quit. Someone asked me how my day was going, I looked at them and said, "The only thing in my life that doesn't suck is the vacuum."Debbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531125606268748793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37871177.post-35925774999045457222008-05-21T19:48:00.000+10:002008-05-21T19:48:00.000+10:00um did you check to see if the bag was full?
