I remember--many years ago--living in Texas and having several days of heavy rains--one day we had 12 inches in 12 hours. Our apartment complex was being evacuated and the water and destruction were frightening. Not as bad then as what Australia is dealing with now. In fact, I wish there were a way for y'all to send much of the wet stuff here. We have a lake that is only a fraction of what it was just early last year.
