You see, I had to stay up late tonight as I had to make this chili sauce.
Do excuse the sequence of photos - blogger and I disagree on the way to do things and you can't be bothered arguing with it any more.
When you have a certain amount of chillis and a certain timeframe to do it one, you don't need to wait for a certain moon phase to concoct.
But it doesn't hurt.
Boiled and mouli'd and reduced and bottled to the tune of Moonstruck.
And outside indeed is that moon.

At first glance I thought kitty had brought you a snake, but no... it's just a dishtowel. That looks delicious, but perhaps too spicy for me. I can't handle much heat.
You most certainly don't need a lot of it, Kelly!
I can see my youngest making chilli sauce in the future, the boy loves chillies and loves to cook. He has five different chilli plants growing in his yard. Along with other things, tomatoes, spinach etc
This looks like something worth staying up for. About the pictures though. I download my pictures, regardless of order, and then as I write, I go down and 'drag' the appropriate picture to where it needs to be in the narrative. You can't do that?
This one is fantastic River. A head of garlic to every 20 or so chillies chopped rough, salt and cover with vinegar (white is okay) - boil to soft then mouli or sieve then return to heat and reduce.
Not on the phone which is how this one got concocted. I do find it easier on the laptop though.
