Number Two Hundred and Ninety-Nine

Do you know that girl? Goodness, give her a tonic and tell her to have a good lie down.

Sorry for the whingy woman that has been invading my body of late, ladies (and gents) - she is far too concerned with the things that get her down to bother to notice the things that get her up.

Well, except for the things that get her up in the morning, that is.

I arrived at Granite Glen safely, and as soon as I kick Bush Babe off her computer I will start "mustering".

In the interim, I thought I had best let you know I have had a little more sleep, done a little more cash massaging, had a few more cuddles from V (4 more sleeps, honey) and am a much chirpier bird than I was last post.

Thank you so much for your nice words.

Anyhow - I have just noticed that I am up to post two hundred and ninety-nine.

There is a tradition that on your 100th post you are meant to do a 100 things post - now, I did not do this - and I will not do a 300 things about me because, really, you have put up with enough of my belly-button fluff and I don't know how far we will have to mine to find 30 things, let alone that many.

Instead, its up to you.

What do you want to know?

What do you want me to do for my 300th?

Do you want poems, pictures or more pathetic excuses of why I cannot enjoy Paradise to its utmost?

Perhaps I could cook you dinner, take you shopping or give you html tips - your call.

Just like y'all to know that Jeanie STILL hasn't managed to kick me off my laptop... heh! Also I think she should give us a photo from her corporate days... like the one that featured on the Reader's Digest once...
:-)

Welcome back to the REAL Jeanie. Body invader go away and stay away!

Ooohh I like BBs suggestion (BB will you post it if Jeanie won't???)

You can do whatever you like for the 300th post because its your blog... Just as long as we get wedding photos!!!

Oh Jeanie, I know the negative nelly thing. I've got it going on big time right now and it is why I've not been posting really.

I really like BB's idea.

Also, if you want to bring me shopping please do so... can you provide the funds too? Ha ha j/k (maybe) lol

Surprise us. Anticipation is good.

Second the motion for wedding pictures once the big day is over and calm returns.

Yeah. I'm going with your sister...you were in the Reader's Digest?!!! Really?!!!!!
There's a story there, and I'm wanting to hear it.

I'll take a Jeanie home-cooked dinner please! I miss those :-( But in lieu of the dinnner, the Reader's Digest photo would do nicely!

I love your poetry.
You know what? I don't mind your rants either, in fact it's good to hear that others need to blow off steam.

But I could use some of your poetry right now.

300 posts. Holy crap!

What do you want out of life? Fully? In the end? There's something to think about.

Yuppers. I'd like to hear about the Readers' Digest pic. :)

D'ya think I should scan that pic from the RD copy we have here, or hand it over to Jeanie? Hmmmmm....

Kari said...

Ohhh BB I think you should totally scan it in. That is what sisters are for after all. Or so I hear (I never had a sister growing up).

Okay - the amazing 300th post is percolating in my mind. I may have to take up the offer, BB - don't seem to have a copy of that photo close to hand! (have you also got the text at hand?)

Thank you for all your comments and votes of confidence.
