36 weeks - that is still a month to go!!!

Firstly - a big HOO-BLODDY-RAY I have finished the project that has been my life for the last few weeks!!

Only got a few tiny tasks to tie up before I am officially on maternity leave (ha ha ha ha ha - self-employed = doing sweet fa and getting paid accordingly) - and then I plan to:
  • Rip up the carpet in 'Salina's room (which has been cleared of clutter in anticipation of this move for a few weeks now...)
  • Paint and recarpet 'Salina's room (well - supervise V and 'Salina doing so)
  • Rearrange furniture throughout the house so the office becomes the bedroom, the bedroom becomes the nursery and the spare room becomes the office (see above)
  • Get carseats installed in the vehicles
  • Clean the house, room by room (so that I can leave it another year - I am a blitz cleaner, not a housekeeper)
  • Organise Christmas for the family
  • Work out what I need for baby that may be missing from what I got
  • Get fit (ha ha ha ha ha)
  • Get my head around the fact that I am going to have a baby
  • Pack a hospital bag
  • Nest
  • Rest

So you see, I am going to need all of that month.

You can hardly tell this is a pregnant woman, can you?

Still, very hard to get past me in a narrow corridor if I haven't lined up quite right.

The most agonising part of the whole body change thing I am going through.. (oh, and I did book a wax for next week so the fat legs above the cankles can shimmer instead of stun)

The one I prepared earlier...

Oh, this is getting very exciting. And 'Salina seems suddenly to have gotten very grown up.

You forgot to put on your list: keeping sister informed of developments at daily intervals. Very important (and quite easy to tick off!).

Your poor, poor feet!

Good luck with that. Take care. :)

Now I know how people felt when they read my blog when I was preggers with Miss Lily! I'm so excited! However, (sorry) glad it is you going through all that and not me! *wink wink* A lot to do before your #2 arrives and I bet your #1 is getting excited! People keep saying to me how Monet, at 5, must be such a good helper - well (at times) she is. Your 'Salina is going to be a brilliant helper!! 28 days to go and counting...

Wowee! Look at you. I can't believe time has gone so fast. (Well, for me, probably not for you, right?)

Deb - she really has - we thought the transition to 9 was amazing - 10 and you can really see a butterfly emerging at times.

BB - now that I have regained the power of speech I shall attempt to use the phone more often - although I don't know that daily developments are occuring quite yet.

Leenie - thanks!

Melody - #1 is an excellent poker player, I can assure you.

Ree - oh, there are some moments when I want it to slow down a little...

Crikey, those poor feet of yours...!
In amongst all of your plans don't forget to put your feet up now and then, ok? :P

What doesn't get done will keep.
I'm sure there are things I planned to do before Stephen was born that are still lurking somewhere, still waiting.
This is getting exciting!

That one you prepared earlier is gorgeous :)

Those feet, however, are not so gorgeous :(

Enjoy your nesting - you look fab!

I agree with Lani S is gorgeous and what a great job you have done.
You look glowing and gorgeous yourself.
Poor little tootsies and ankles.
Enjoy your nesting indeed I missed this bit because my boys came at 35,4 days ...I hadn't even packed my bags.

Jayne - feet elevated whenever possible here, I can assure you - when you can feel the cankles coming up the calves you gotta release the pressure somehow.

Elizabeth - lol that is my biggest fear (although I know it won't be the end of the world)

MissyBoo - I think she is too!!

Trish - eek!
